ENGLAND CENTER ART GALLERY

Yard Work | September
An exhibition featuring four artists who first met in the UCA Art Department over a decade ago. Kristen Spickard, Barbara Satterfield, Jeff Young and Deborah Kuster have come together to showcase their artistic responses to nature and backyard experiences.
Reception: Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Courtney Wilson | October
From Little Rock, her sculptures aim to connect historical narratives and create conversation around lost community value. By looking to the past and assessing the present, her work questions the political, economic, and social histories forming our communities.
Reception: Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Student Showcase | November
The art gallery will feature the exceptional talent and creativity of ASU-Beebe students through their artwork created during fall classes.
Reception: Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Richard Stephens | February
Richard Stephens is an internationally recognized artist from Hot Springs, awarded the Arkansas Individual Artist of the Year, and has been featured in multiple years by The Art of Watercolor, widely considered the top watercolor publication in the world.
  - Reception: Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
  - Workshop: Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, 9:00 a.m. 
  - Workshop: Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, 9:00 a.m.

Gary Simmons | March
Dr. Gary Simmons is an internationally recognized artist and wrote The Technical Pen: Techniques for Artists, published by New York's Watson-Guptill Publishers in 1992. It was translated in Chinese and Russian and, maybe a bit over the top, was reviewed as the bible of pen and ink.
Reception: Thursday, Mar. 5, 2026, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
